Gosin

Software engineer — backend and systems.

I build the load-bearing middles of systems: data pipelines, integrations, internal tooling.

有间 · Yǒujiān

I’m starting Yǒujiān, a software venture that helps people finish what matters. Its name comes from an idea in the Zhuangzi: complex structures have natural openings — — and good work enters through them rather than by force.

Its first product, Soloist, is studio management for independent music teachers, built on one idea: the teacher’s own calendar is the source of truth. Not released yet.

器以成事。 Tools serve the work.

Otherwise

Classical Chinese literature and aesthetics, which shape how I think about software: restraint, sufficiency, knowing when a thing is done. Woodworking, photography, cars, and collecting physical books in two languages. Splatoon, when the ink calls.

At home: a wife and a two-year-old daughter, who outrank everything above.
